Group Project- Superstition

Jackson, Myung Li, Stefan and I are working on a group project involving superstition and the psychology behind it.

We have intentions of making a video describing superstition, as well as putting people through different tests and circumstances. We're hoping to put people in a situation where it will be immediately clear if a person suffers from some superstitious tendencies. We will be asking a series of questions to the individuals we interview, we want to talk about what superstition is, where it originated, what types of superstitions are still practiced and who still believes them.

Studies also say that women are more superstitious than men are. We are going to try to see if this is even true and if we can find the reasoning for this.

We will also talk about the psychology of superstition. What makes us believe in these ideas, who taught us these superstitions, and why we still practice them. How much psychology is involved in these superstitions, where does paranoia and anxiety play into this beliefs.
