This is an interesting study. It still proves that the half-brain surgery works to prevent siezures in extreme cases. It amazes me that this is possible. I couldn't imagine going through all of that, although I have had a long hospital experience at the age of seven. I don't think it is necessary for them to do a follow-up story. She will most likely be doing the same as she was two years after the surgery when she was interviewed.
