The Role of Racism and Sexism in the 2008 Presidential Election

This short article briefly discusses the role that racism and sexism have played in the democratic election process for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Already it has effected the way numerous voters have chosen their candidates during the primaries and it is inevitably going to effect the presidential election. It is too bad that a politicians policies are overshadowed issues of race or gender. We can only hope that America will figure this out sooner rather than later.
