Vilayanur Ramachandran – "Different Brain Damages"

This is a video clip that doctor Vilayanur Ramachandran is talking about three different brain damages.
First, he talks about 'capgras syndrome', that if the area called 'gyrus' in the brain be damaged, you could no longer recognized people faces, but you could recognized the voices. And about the more rare syndrome which calls 'capgras delusion', that you know how your mother looks like but you think that some other woman is pretending your mother.
And the second one is about 'Phantom limb syndrome' which we saw the video clip in class.
And the last one is about 'Sine ars scientia syndrome' which starts at 17:33 (in case, if you want to watchjust this) that who sees the number and tones as a colored. For example, 5 is a blue, 7 is a yellow, and C# is a blue and F# is a green. In this case, he says in our brain, the area which manages color and number are next each other. So, there could be some accident that they have a same sense made people look a color and number at one time.

This first two syndromes are what we saw in class but in this video clip, doctor Vilayanur Ramachandran shows some pictures of our brain and explain all that he found so, it was really helpful to understandmore clearly for me. So, I wanted to share this video clip to others.
