HOW CAFFEINE EFFECTS OUR MEMORY

I am having trouble pasting the link into this text box - so go to wikipedia.org and search EFFECT OF CAFFEINE ON MEMORY.

It is very interesting!!! Studies and experiments have beeen done to understand the effect that caffeine has on our ability to retain information.  I found this very relevant because I drink so much tea and coffee!

They performed controlled observation experimental studies on groups of individuals and tested their ability to repeat series of words 'off the tip of their tongue'.  The group of people who had caffeine in their systems were quicker to repeat them back.  The caffeine enhances short term memor capacity and also stimilates the brains decision to repeat quickly.

They also studied the effects of the AMOUNT of consumption.  There were groups of people with high, low and medium doses of caffeine and they were tested at 4 different times during the day.  The group with a low intake of caffeine had decreased performance in the tests later in the day.  The high intakes remained active for longer period of time and their performance lasted.

It's very interesting post.
In my case, I can't enjoy to drink coffee. I guess that I am weak from caffeine. Moreover, like coffee, whenever I ate chocolates too much, I have felt my heartbeat is quicker than in ordinary times.

If the caffeine enhances short term memory capacity and also stimulates the brains decision to repeat quickly, it would be attractive to people who have ahead the important tests in their own lives.
Also, more drink the caffeine amount of consumption is helpful people to keep energetic body.

I agree with in young choi, i think this article is interesting and it grabbed my attention because i am a coffee drinker. i dont drink coffee like i used to but i never really noticed if it effected my memory.

Although i never noticed any memory loss, I do notice that my heart beats fast. But now for some reason I feel like I am immune to the coffee because it doesnt give me anymore energy.
