Tuning The Brain

Music is something that everybody enjoys and relates to. People create ties between each other and relate because they listen to music. Many say that music is something enchanting, that it has a spiritual side to it. Well, this post is from a neuropsychological point of view, an interesting points are made about the capabilities of the brain if trained correctly.

Yes, i think without a doubt music has an affect on our brain. Even part from what has been written, if we do an observational study on ourselves, or perhaps young children, you can see the effects. When I put on happier music it can put me in a better mood, classical music makes me feel very soothed and focused, unless it's Rachmaninoff or something. More hard core music can make me feel energized or anxious. When you sing children lullabyes you can sooth them to sleep or make them calm. Music definitely has a strong impact on our brains. What would we do without it? The world would surely be a more dull place to live.
