Jung Personality Test

When we were taking the personality test in class the other day, I thought of another personality test I had often heard about, where the results classified people into personality types labeled by four letters. I learned that this this was the Jung personality test. I had always wanted to take it because I was curious about what the results would be, but I never got around to it until now.

These were my results:

The rating range is between 14 and 70 with the mean of 42.

Yor detail scores are: E - I = 42 , S - N = 43 , T - F = 51 , J - P = 33

Your personality type is ISTP Introverted thinking with sensing

The details of ISTP personality are :
These people are action-oriented and fearless, and crave excitement. They are impulsive and dangerous to stop. They often like tools, instruments, and weapons, and often become technical experts. They are not interested in communications and are often incorrectly diagnosed as dyslexic or hyperactive. They tend to do badly in school.

The careers that make most use of ISTP personality type.
(Personality match from employer perspective)
Scientist/biologist/physicist/chemist, Engineer, Marketing specialist, Consultant, Manager, Forces, Human Resources, Technical specialist, Sales, Project manager, Business Analyst

Careers chosen by those of ISTP personality type.
(Personality match from employee perspective)
Professor/academic/lecturer, Lawyer/attorney, Scientist/biologist/physicist/chemist, Researcher, Consultant, Engineer, Computer specialist, Doctor/health care, Sales, Careers/occupational advice/therapy, Business Analyst, Accountant/auditor/banker/economist, Writer/editor, Teacher

I am not sure if these results explain me exactly, but certain things are accurate. I wouldn't say I'm fearless, and I wouldn't describe myself as impulsive. I do crave excitement, but I feel like that is a very general statement; who doesn't like excitement? I also am not dyslexic or hyperactive, but I didn't do as well as I could have in high school. Some of the careers often chosen by ISTP personality types seemed to describe me more, because I am transferring to a different school next year because I want to study biology, and I also enjoy writing a lot. However, there is a pretty big range of jobs on that list, and many of them, such as accountant, banker, and economist, have absolutely no appeal to me whatsoever. I learned that the letters ISTP stand for introversion, sensing, thinking, and perception.

I am not too sure how I feel about personality tests. I feel like my results may depend on my mood, because the answers to the questions could depend on how I've been feeling lately. I also feel that if I took this test a year ago, I would have gotten completely different results. Even though I have changed a lot in year, I wouldn't say my personality has changed that drastically. I am not sure what the point of personality tests are, or if they have any benefit. I also feel like personality is very individual. People may fit into general categories, but I don't see the point in grouping everybody together.
