Positive Procrastination

I found an article on how for some people, procrastination can actually help to be more productive. The thought is that if you are not doing what you are supposed to be doing, you are doing something else to avoid the task, therefor getting something done.

While I can definitely relate to this, as to procrastinate from projects I often work on less important assignments at the time, I don't agree with the article's statement that procrastinators rarely do absolutely nothing. I often find myself, and am sure many of you do as well, procrastinating by watching Netflix, browsing Facebook, or other things such as this, which are not very productive and might as well be considered doing nothing.

With the way things are in today's fast paced society, there are always things to get done, and its natural to procrastinate (according to the article, 25% of people in a study were chronic procrastinators), so at least this article gives us a reason to feel better about it!
