interactive media for people Mental retardation.

hey, i was looking through some things on mental retardation and found that pictorial commands only can infringe on the persons ability to learn sight words. And as i was surfing i saw how common understandings can be taken so differently by others so i decided to post along a picture of what could happpen if these programs aren't properly thought out.

This is cool. I know that many things we say can mean different things to different people, but the pictures you posted were odd. I like the one of St. Fu. Somewhat funny pictures.

I agree with you, these show how things can be commonly misinterpretted. And that things like this should be properly refined before revealing to others who must interpret it, so that there is no misunderstanding. Very funny though.

I remember when I first read "brb" when someone typed it to me over AIM. I was like, "What the hell does that mean?" I thought it was a typo and the person meant to spell something else like "bob" or "curb". Now, those kind of internet things are second nature to me now.

Just like those smiley faces. I didn't know at first you had to read them from the side.

those symbols are going to be kinds of new language.
also it's very hard to follow the new trend of words.
