Eugenics and abortion

From the beginning, people have always been trying to control the society, having a certain  equilibrium within their society, and they will not stand for anything that comes in their way. This whole term, 'Eugenics', what is it? It's basically a scientific movement that began during the early 20th century, and it was used to control the population, in terms of such as enforcedracial hygiene, human experimentation, and the extermination of "undesired" population groups.
Now the talk is on abortion and whether it's played on the act of eugenics or just a matter of it's own. True women should be given the rights of whether or not they want to be pregnant or not, but there's alot more deeper facts that are now seen with abortion. Planned parenthood is a billion dollar organisation that legalizes birth control and rights for women. Margaret Sanger, who was the founder of Planned Parenthood wrote a book and in this book she says, ""The Fertility of the Feeble-Minded...There is but one practical and feasible program in handling the great problem of the feeble-minded. That is, as the best authorities are agreed, to prevent the birth of those who would transmit imbecility to their descendants." Basically, she goes about saying that the problems in society are caused by those who don't have proper IQ's, mental defectivities, etc.
Now, isn't that funny? This was pretty much a point in Eugenics, that the scientists would create the perfect child, the perfect human. The whole point of eugenics was to improve human society, but through time people have used this to their best cruel intentions. Watching the video last class definitlely opened up my eyes to a whole other world I didn't even know existed. It's scary how alot goes on in society nowadays and we, the people live in it and go through everyday as if nothing ever happens. Horrifying right? Yup, that's pretty much what people in higher power can do, and how well they play with our minds!
