Abnormal Psychology

I think one subject that would have been really cool to delve into this past semester would have been abnormal psychology and psychopathology, or the study of mental illnesses. I think it would have been really fun and interesting to read about different cases and try to explain or figure out the purpose of someone's abnormal behavior and try to diagnose them with something. From there, it would have been cool to add another level, such as treatment into the picture. When I looked this up, the basic forms of abnormal behavior were:
1.) Being "Infrequent": to the overall population.
2.) Being "Maladaptive": behavior inhibits well being, growth, and fulfillment.
3.) Being "Deviant": not socially acceptable.
4.) Being "Unjustifiable": cannot be rationalized.
