I thought it was really interesting when we were talking about the different way to classify disorders. I think it's really hard to decide which way to go when it comes to deciding how to diagnose different disorders.
Like social-cultural, would be a really hard way to diagnose someone's problems because from an outsider, it's hard to put their social-cultural norms into your own. So, when you are looking at diagnosing a disorder this way, usually, opinions can be biased. It's hard not to be because if you are brought up a certain way, it's hard to consider other people's cultural backgrounds. Although this is an important thing to consider when helping a person in a particular group. I think this would be the hardest way to completely solve someone's problems.
An easy way to help someone with their problems is considering their personal issues and how it effects them. I feel like if the person is having trouble with a problem, then they should definitely get help. I think the issue is if it bothers someone personally, then it should be looked at. I think that is the best way to approach diaorders, because all people are different and all of their situations are different, so you can't put disorders into groups of people, beacause even if it a culture or social group, people have individual personalities.

i completely agree, it seems that the hardest thing to do it to accomodate the person and their needs, and make them feel ok so that they can deal with their disorder.
i agree finding someone who is not a lunitic to take care of someone with a disorder is very important also
