For the playground project, I wanted to find out about how playing in the playgrounds can help children. In this article, the author talks about all kinds of developments that children can benefit such as social development, creativity, problem solving, reasoning, and many more. While many of the parents are forcing children to be smarter nowadays, but it is very important for the parents to understand why playing outside with other kids is essential in childhood.
As a person who spent most of my day times at playgrounds during my youth, I can't disagree with the author's opinions, which are strongly supported with facts and studies. I remember that most of my friends that I had wasn't just from the day care center or schools, but many were the ones that I met in the playgrounds, with whom I developed my socializing skills. Play is one of the most basic instincts that humans are born with, and by playing together, we find similarities and starts to learn what the world around us outside of our home environment is. When home is full of caring and resting aspects, playground is full of excitement and explorations.
The more I look at children now, I feel like they are already exposed so much to televisions, computers, and video games, which makes me sad that they will find those gadgets more exciting than playing outside. With so much junk food that's being sold in stores and the popuularity of computers and video games in homes now, the importance of being healthy from physical activity is crucial to children who are still in their developing stages.

Play was a crucial part of our lives when We ,1,70 year old from Ireland, when the most ordinary aspects , Groves of tree's, slopes , streams and weeds were part of our lives. We invested them all with our imaginations. we have survived and enjoy the world we live in. B.Buckley.
